In yet another step to protect user privacy in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica scandal, Facebook announced it has banned around 200 apps which could have misused data.

This comes following an internal investigation of all apps that were given data access prior to the 2015 policy change, as well as some ‘suspicious’ apps.

They’re still looking at thousands of apps in an attempt to determine if personal data was misused. Was your account affected? Facebook has created a page to help users find out if they’re data may be affected. Check here.
