Influencers – they’re lookin’ at you!
Facebook appears to be keeping its promises to Test New Tools and Experiences for Creators by testing a new platform aimed at connecting marketers to content creators using precision targeting like Countries, Interests, Life Events, Home Ownership Status, Relationship Status, Education, and Gender. It also appears that you can save a list of favorite influencers, contact them directly through the app and then design campaigns together.
According to TechCrunch, “Facebook wants to help businesses find creators who can authentically reach their target audience while allowing creators a path to monetising their Facebook content and fan base.
Here at SOCL, we’re pretty excited about this. The idea of seamlessly connecting with the *right* influencers, viewing stats and working out deals right in the app is appealing. Here’s hoping this move will help Facebook reduce spam accounts and scams that seem to run rampant in the influencer world.
